Remember: LotFotL Choice CSA allows members to….
~CHOOSE what items they want
~CHOOSE how much food to take
Wait what? So how does it work? I just take whatever I want? – So similar to a gym membership, you have access to all the equipment and whether you use the tread mill or not is up to you. In our program you have access to whatever we offer, and as much or little of any foods as you find appropriate. We ask you to take the food that you will eat for that week (we do offer some guidelines around how much is suggested, but they are simply guidelines). We trust that members want us to thrive as a farm and will honor this agreement. You have two program options. One contains meat and one does not.
How Much? Price is based on how many people are in your family. The contract runs for the entire season, so members sign up for the program and commit to paying for the full 12 deliveries (16 wks worth of food). Members can pay all at once, or put down a $200 deposit (per household) and schedule automated monthly payments for the season.
Price Chart: Use the chart to determine the full cost. Example: A family with 2 adults and one child between the ages of 5 and 10, that chose the Full Spectrum option, would pay…. $680+$680+$170=$1530 for the season. Showing a total weekly cost of $96/wk.
What food is available? That always depends a bit on mother nature, but we can give you a good idea of what to expect. These are of course estimates and will depend on quantity available, weather, storage life, etc… click here to see our winter availability chart.
