Welcome to LotFotL’s 2025 Summer CSA program. It is go time! Let’s start ordering. Each week you will receive an email like this one, inviting you to place your order. Inventory will change from week to week, depending on what is available.

We are so excited to get you started. Below are directions to help you place your first order. We are going to keep this first email to the point as everyone is just getting used to the order process. In the future you can expect to see things like stories, recipe links, and photos included in your emails.

Here are a couple of things to note for week 1. (even for seasoned members)

  • If you didn’t pay you are not set up to order. The farm issues your credits when your payment has been received.
  • If you don’t have your FarmMatch account yet, public open enrollment is now limited to pick up at the Farm. Follow the directions in the “you need a farmmatch account” email, or Contact the farm directly to help you get started. april@lotfotl.com
  • You can keep track of your credits in your shopping cart window each week. You should not be charged for anything that you order (until you use up all of your credits).
  • If you move and your address changes, you must contact the farm. We use multiple programs to execute delivery and must have your address changed in all of them.
  • If you don’t get delivery by 5pm, please reach out to the farm asap (texting or calling is best for issues like this) and expect a response from us that day. This will likely mean that something is wrong and we want to get to the bottom of it right away.

Ok. Now let’s get on to ordering……

Your online store is always open from Sunday at noon to Wednesday at 8pm. You must place your order within this time frame.

HOW TO ORDER: (STORE OPENS AT NOON)

  • Go to https://www.farmmatch.com/lotfotl
  • Login
  • IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have selected the correct location AND refreshed your browser page.
  • Confirm that your credits have been issued to your account.
  • Place your order following the order parameters:

~~Minimum total order of $40.

~~Maximum total order of $250.

~~Limit $200 on meat per week.

~~ Use all of your credits by the October 25th delivery.

  • IMPORTANT: You must get a confirmation receipt email detailing your order. If you don’t, you did not complete your order correctly. Review the email, to make sure the information is correct, especially the LOCATION. 
  • Thank you for understanding that we are not able to process late orders.
  • Order on weeks that work for you, skip the ones that don’t.
  • Final order of the season: When you use the last of your credits for the season, your credit card on file will be charged for any amount due. You will then have access to a limited menu for the remainder of the season.

HACKS AND ORDERING TRICKS:

  • If the product selection is not displayed in organized groups, you are likely in the “Previously Ordered” section. Scroll down to all products and it will be easier to navigate.
  • If products have a locked sign on them, you likely need to change your pick-up location. Click on the lock to see where this item is available.
  • If you cannot see products, contact the farm.

QUANTITY LIMITS

  • This program is designed for members to order on a regular basis. You will notice quantity limitations on some items. We do this for a number of reasons.
    • With fresh produce, we may have limited quantities and want to make sure the most people get a chance to try it. We do our best to have lots of the most popular items and only have to limit some of the less popular.
    • We have limited space available in our delivery truck, so large orders are more difficult for us to manage, especially in the frozen department. Stocking up all at once is hard on us.
    • We are a small business with limited funds, so tying up lots of our cash in inventory can be a challenge.
    • We have limited space to store inventory and keep it safe.
  • If you have an item that you would like larger quantities of and is something we bring in from a farm partner, like pasta sauce or salmon patties etc., you can email april@lotfotl.com and request a case for yourself when we next order. When it arrives, we will add it to your next order and send it your way.
