I understand that I am participating in a farm activity at LotFotL Community Farm at my own risk. I take full responsibility for myself and children when I come to family day on the farm and will not hold anyone at LotFotL community farm responsible for accidents or harm that may occur on the farm while I am here.
I understand that while in the fields we will be working with plants that are or will be food, so the farmer and the community are counting on me to help guide and instruct my children appropriately to ensure the food and kids stays safe while they are participating in this experience.
I am considered the emergency contact for any children that are with me and will be able to provide any pertinent medical or personal information in the event of an emergency
I understand that family days are designed to be outdoor activities with limited numbers of people, and it is my responsibility to social distance at a level that feels comfortable to me. In addition, I will respect the wishes and needs requested by other participants around social distancing. Masks are optional and not required.

Volunteer considerations: Here are some things to consider so you feel prepared and comfortable at our farm. *

SHOW UP: If you are scheduled to work, please make this a priority as we are counting on you being here and have reserved a spot for you. If you cannot make it, please make sure to call and let us know as soon as possible. Your supervisor's name is Casey Lynn and you can text/call her at 262-725-2716.
COME PREPARED: On days that you work, we suggest dressing in layers for your comfort, having a rain coat just in case, and wearing shoes that can get dirty and/or wet. Most folks like to have their water bottle with them (please no glass) and perhaps a snack. You may also like to have sunscreen and /or bug repellent. Hats can be handy as well.
PARKING: You will see our employees parked along the side of the driveway. You can follow their lead. Please remember that large wide farm equipment will also need to use this driveway so make space for that.
SELF CARE: Everyone is different in what they need to feel comfortable and safe. Please do not hesitate to let someone know if you have a need or request. (including but not limited to, potty breaks, water breaks, or just a need to rest out of the sun, etc.)
